Though this feature is only available on selected bets, it allows players to withdraw a portion of their bet amount on a losing game. This means instead of losing an entire wager of say C$200, you can claim up to C$50 or even more depending on the game and the progress of the match.
• Live Streaming: The live streaming feature is one of the talking points of GGBet. Though this feature is common on most sports betting sites, GGBet allows players to stream more sports than on other sites. Using the feature, I was able to watch live esports games and also stream top sports like Soccer and Basketball.

GGBet Weaknesses ❌

• No Interac: For live betting sites that want to appeal to Canadian bettors, adding the Interac banking method among its payment options will definitely give it an edge. Unfortunately, GGBet does not accept Interac transactions.
• Lack of Player Props: Player props is one of the biggest betting markets for online bettors. For me, it is my go-to option, however, GGBet doesn’t have this betting market on many sports.
• Limited Customer Support: GGBet is one of the few football betting sites that fail to offer a phone chat option for customers. To make things worse, the platform doesn’t also offer a FAQ section. If you ever need to contact the support team, you’re stuck with the live chat and email option.

Overall, with only a few weaknesses available, GGBet offers all the basic features and services needed by Canadian sports betting fans.

With the maturity shown by GGbet, I am shocked that it was launched in 2016. The online betting site offers features not seen on other top bookmakers, so to see GGbet being such a prominent figure only shows the potential growth of this company.

However, there are growing pains associated with the site that I believe they need to address. Not offering Interac as a payment option is crippling because many Canadians prefer this method of banking.

Also, not offering their mobile app on Apple is another issue that should be fixed. While they provide a ton of betting markets and sports, popular leagues and wagering opportunities are missed, like Player Props.

Lastly, the layout of certain pages is abysmal. Their promo page needs addressing ASAP and I am not a fan of how their sports leagues are displayed. It's jumbled and not in alphabetical order. It appears lazy and makes it confusing and challenging to find the sports you want to wager on.

With that being said, GGbet does a ton right. eSports bettors will be in heaven with the number of markets available to them. Their sports betting market offers popular sports and niche sports like Bandy and Snooker, meaning GGbet covers a wide array of sports bettor's interests. Since the payout speed of GGbet is around the industry standard, I think giving them 4-stars is acceptable. You can get your funds in as little as 24 hours or 7-days, depending on the method you choose. Now, if GGbet were to offer methods that went above and beyond the industry standard, I would have no issue giving them 5-stars. Until then, I think 4-stars is acceptable.

This may be a controversial take but I knocked off a star because I find the layout of their sports TERRIBLE. Why is there no method of organization when displaying the offered sports? Other than that, I will admit that placing and wagering bets on the site is easy. But the chaos of finding the sport you want to wager on needs to be addressed.

• 🏈 GGBet American Football: The biggest betting market in North America should not be overlooked but I think it is here. NFL betting is prominent but GGbet doesn't seem to offer any odds for the CFL. I think this is a missed opportunity for the site.

Africa, Europe and South America are prominently displayed on GGbet, which is a nice change of pace from other betting sites. And yes, you can bet on the NBA but there appears to be no NCAA betting, which is an oversight.
• 🏒 GGBet Hockey: I was happily surprised by the number of hockey betting options. GGbet features the NHL and AHL but European and Asian leagues are often forgotten about. GGbet has multiple leagues and tournaments to wager on from several countries. As well, they have all the Major Junior leagues for Canadian hockey (QMJHL, WHL, OHL) which isn't seen on even some of the biggest betting sites in the world!
• ⚽ GGBet Soccer: Soccer bettors will love the number of leagues playable on this site. Of course, popular competitions like LaLiga, EPL, Bundesliga and Ligue 1 are all available to bet on. But GGbet gives users an opportunity to hit lesser-known leagues, like the Vietnam U23 Champions League and Malta Premier League. Sprinkling in competitions like the World Cup and Euros, GGbet has it all.

GGbet Betting Markets

• GGBet Moneyline: The most popular betting market in the world, betting the Moneyline means you are wagering on the winner straight up. If the team you selected wins the game, then you win your bet!
• GGBet Spread: Spread betting is a way to balance out two teams. You are betting on the underdog to win (or lose by the number of points given to them by the favorite). Basically, the favorite needs to win despite points being taken away, while the underdog can win straight up or lose the actual game but cover the spread with the points awarded to them.
• GGBet Totals: Mostly known for bets on the total score of the game, totals are often referred to as the over/under. The betting line will be listed as O/U and you need to decide if there will be more (over) or fewer (under) points scored in the game.

However, popular leagues (NCAA Football) seem to be missing from their betting options, which seems to be an oversight. Still, I love the provided options but it feels as if GGbet is missing markets in some categories.

Not offering Interac as a banking option is another red flag as far as I am concerned but the general betting experience is great. Their offerings of customer service are great and they cover (mostly) everything you could want from a bookmaker. I think sports bettors will enjoy their time with GGbet, especially if they have an appreciation for lesser-known sports leagues and competitions.
