Bodog released betting markets and odds for the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, the first NFL event in 2024 following Super Bowl 58. With the 2023/2024 NFL season over, who knows how many NFL bettors were starving for something other than futures for the upcoming season to place bets on. Most NFL betting sites released some futures for the 2024/2025 season right after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 22-25 in the Super Bowl. The combine is scheduled to run from February 26 to March 4 and will be held in Indianapolis.

What you can bet on

Odds were released for a bunch of the most popular events at the combine, the 40-yard dash for example. You can bet on whether or not the fastest 40-yard time will be faster or slower than 4.27 seconds. The odds are -120 for faster than 4.27 seconds and -120 for slower. DJ Turner II ran the fastest 40 in 2023 with a time of 4.26 seconds. Jakorian Bennett had the second fastest time at 4.3 seconds.

John Ross ran the fastest 40-yard dash in NFL history in 2017. He finished with a blazing 4.22 time. You can also bet on whether or not someone will beat the record. Ross is favoured to keep his record. The odds are +350 for someone at the combine this year to run a faster time than 4.22 and -600 for the best 40 time at the combine to be 4.23 seconds or slower. Chris Johnson ran the second fastest 40 in NFL history with a 4.24 time.

Some other interesting combine events you can bet on are the highest vertical jump and most bench press reps. Will the highest vertical jump be over 43.5 inches? You can bet yes at -145 odds or no at +105. And similar to the 40-yard dash, bettors can place bets on whether or not someone will break the NFL combine record of 45 inches held by Chris Conley and Donald Washington. Will the most bench press reps be more or less than 40? You can bet more than 40 at -105 and less than 40 at -135. NFL Draft Betting Details

Bodog also released odds for the 2024 NFL Draft. The NFL Draft will begin on April 25 in Detroit and will end on April 27. Quarterback Caleb Williams is the betting favourite to be the first pick in the draft by a huge margin. Williams has -1000 odds to be selected first. Quarterback Drake Maye has the best odds at +450. Wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. is next at +900.

Bodog released odds for only the first three picks, but you can also bet on which team will draft Harrison Jr., Brock Bowers, and Blake Corum. Quarterback Brock Purdy was the last pick of the 2022 NFL draft, known as Mr. Irrelevant. Bodog set odds for which position will be picked last this year. Quarterback has the best odds at +210.
