How to bet on Elon Musk vs Mark Zuckerberg potential fight

If an MMA fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg were to happen, the fight would be “the biggest fight ever, in the history of the world,” UFC president Dana White said during an interview with TMZ.

For many of us, this would be the most interesting fight in history without a doubt. Two of the richest and most famous men in the world fighting in a UFC octagon would be something we have never seen before.

There is a real chance the fight could happen, according to White. “I was talking to both Elon and Mark last night. Both guys are absolutely dead serious about this.”White hasn’t given a potential date for the fight. He said the money raised for the fight would likely go to charity.

How to bet on the fight and who is the betting favourite?

Mark Zuckerberg is the betting favourite for a potential MMA fight between the billionaires. Zuckerberg has -500 odds to win the fight on Bet99. Musk is a huge underdog early. He has +300 odds to win the fight.

To bet on this fight, head to the MMA specials section on Bet99’s site. All bets will be voided if the fight is not scheduled by July 31. For context, these odds are similar to the odds for the upcoming featherweight championship fight between Alexander Volkanovski and Yair Rodriguez at UFC 290. Volkanovski is a -450 favourite and Rodriguez is a big underdog on UFC betting sites.

Where did this come from?

One tweet from Musk seems to have set everything in motion for this potential superfight between billionaires. Musk replied to a tweet that implied he should be afraid of Zuckerberg’s jiu-jitsu skills. “I'm up for a cage match if he is lol,” Musk said.

Zuckerberg replied to Musk’s challenge on Instagram. He wrote “send me location.” Now, White is trying to make the fight happen.

“They both want to do it. Mark Zuckerberg hit me up first. And said is he serious?” White also has expressed his desire to make the fight happen. “I make fights that people want to see. That’s what I do for a living. If they really want to do it, they’re serious, and we can figure out a way to pull it off. I would absolutely positively do this.”

Their MMA backgrounds

Zuckerberg shocked the MMA world when he showed up for a Brazilian jiu-jitsu competition in May. According to ESPN, he won the “no-gi white belt, 149-pound division at BJJ Tour Silicon Valley.”

He posted photos on his Instagram page. Zuckerberg started his MMA journey during the pandemic, according to the article. “He has been training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu for about one year under Dave Camarillo, who was once the head Brazilian jiu-jitsu coach for American Kickboxing Academy.”

Musk started learning MMA at a young age. During an interview with UFC commentator Joe Rogan, Musk revealed his MMA history. “I did martial arts as a kid,” Musk said. “I did taekwondo, karate, judo, and did Brazilian jiu-jitsu briefly. White seems confident in Musk’s MMA background. “Elon tells me he’s done martial arts. He’s done jiu jitsu. He said people might not think this about me, but I've been in plenty of fights growing up.”
