The end of the 2022-2023 NFL season is also the start of a new betting season. A lot of sportsbooks released early odds and started taking bets for the 2023-2024 season. It’s a great opportunity for bettors to capitalize on early odds before they change. Here are some of the early odds and favorites for the Super Bowl winner, winning conference, and MVP award winner for the upcoming 2023-2024 NFL season.

Quick Take

  • Patrick Mahomes tied with Joe Burrow for best odds to win the MVP award
  • The Kansas City Chiefs are the early favorite to win the Super Bowl
  • Justin Jefferson has the highest MVP odds for a non-QB

2023-2024 NFL MVP Odds and Preview

Bet99
Patrick Mahomes(+680)
Joe Burrow(+680)
Josh Allen(+740)
Justin Herbert(+1000)
Jalen Hurts(+1200)
Justin Jefferson(+7900)

Patrick Mahomes won his second NFL MVP award in the 2022-2023 season. It seems like Mahomes is among the favorites to win the award every year since he became a starter in the league. Mahomes is tied with Joe Burrow for best odds to win the award next season on a couple of sports betting sites. On Bet99, Mahomes and Burrow are +680 to win MVP.

After a strong first-half in 2022-2023, Josh Allen has the third best odds to win the award on Bet99 with +740 odds. Allen has the same odds as Burrow and Mahomes on BetMGM, currently a 7.50 payout. Allen and Burrow are the early favorites to pry the award from Mahomes. The next closest on the two sportsbooks are Justin Herbert, Los Angeles Chargers quarterback, and Jalen Hurts.

The player with the best odds at a different position is Justin Jefferson at +7900 on Bet99. Jefferson is considered one of, if not the best, wide receiver in the league by analysts and fans. Last season, Jefferson was 191 yards away from reaching 2000 receiving yards for the season. If Jefferson reaches that mark next season, he could become a realistic candidate for the award.

2023-2024 Super Bowl Winner Odds and Preview

Bet99
Kansas City Chiefs(+540)
Buffalo Bills(+660)
San Francisco 49ers(+700)
Philadelphia Eagles(+780)
Cincinnati Bengals(+860)

After defeating the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII, the Kansas City Chiefs are favored to win the Super Bowl next year on most of the top NFL betting sites. The Chiefs have appeared in the last five AFC Championship games, winning three of them. The Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles, Cincinnati Bengals, and San Francisco 49ers are right behind them on most of the sportsbooks.

The NFL Draft, free agency, and trades will impact the odds during the months leading up to the start of next season. Guys like Aaron Rodgers and Lamar Jackson should shake things up if one of them ends up on a new team. The New York Jets and Oakland Raiders are two teams to watch, their odds could change significantly with a quarterback change.

Winning Conference Odds and Preview

Bet99
AFC(-134)
NFC(+100)

A bet on the winning conference is a bet for which conference you believe will win the Super Bowl next year. This betting option is available on many sports betting sites - Betway, Bet99, Bwin, and BetMGM Ontario to name a few. The AFC is the favorite on all those sites. A team from the AFC has won three of the last five Super Bowls.

Tom Brady’s retirement and the Bronco’s addition of Sean Payton might have something to do with the AFC being the favorite, considering the NFC has won two of the last three Super Bowls. It’s also possible Aaron Rodgers could be heading to an AFC team. The NFC has a chance, based on the odds, because the Eagles and Niners are near the top of most sportsbooks’ list of teams to win the championship next season.
