CFL and NFL preseason promotions available in August

The CFL season is halfway done, and the NFL preseason began on August 3 when the Cleveland Browns defeated the New York Jets 21-16 in the Hall of Fame Game. Now a couple of sportsbooks are offering promotions for the leagues.

This is a great time to utilize or check out these promotions before they are gone. Here is a list of active promotions for NFL and CFL betting in August. Sports Interaction’s promotions

Sports Interaction is offering bettors refunds for any moneyline bet on a CFL game that loses by three points. This is the Rule #1: You Can’t Lose By 3 Points promotion. Here is how the promotion works. Place a moneyline bet on a CFL game — the bet can be a single, part of a parlay, or round robin — during the regular season. The bet must be placed before the game, live bets will not count. For this promotion, there is no limit on how much you can bet to qualify for a refund. If the bet loses by three points, no more or less, Sports Interaction will provide a full refund.

This promotion is great for parlays and round robins because the bet will not affect the remaining legs of the bet if you lose. “Any refunds to selections involved in parlays or round robins will reduce the bet to the remaining selections and have no impact on other selections.” If your bet is cashed out before the game ends, you will not receive a refund.

Sports Interaction’s CFL and NFL promo

Sports Interaction is also offering a promotion for both the CFL and NFL. They are offering $2 in bonus funds for bettors who wager $50 on a CFL regular season game or NFL preseason game. This is the Build Your NFL Bankroll promotion. To get the bonus funds, players need to bet — before the game or live — at least $50 on a CFL game or NFL preseason game with odds at -200 or longer. The bet must be a real money bet, bet credits will not qualify. The bet must be on one of the following markets: moneyline, spread, and over/under. “Parlay wagers are eligible for this promotion as long as at least 1 leg of the parlay is a CFL or NFL preseason bet.” 

This promotion can be used more than once, and you can bet more money to receive additional bonus funds. Sports Interaction will give $2 in bonus funds for every $50 bet during the promotion up to $100, so a $100 bet will reward bettors with $4 in bonus funds. Bets that are cashed out before the game ends will not count. The bonus funds will not be available until September 4. All bonus funds earned during the promotion will be “credited in full on September 4.” The bonus funds can only be used on an NFL market and expires after 14 days.

BetRivers’ promotion

BetRivers is giving bonus bets to players who bet $10 or more on any NFL preseason game. This is the NFL Preseason 50% Matched Bet promotion. To utilize this promo, place a $10 or more live bet on an NFL preseason game with odds at -200 or greater. BetRivers will match half the bet, giving players a bonus bet equal to half their stake up to $25, VIPs can receive up to $100.

The bonus bet should arrive “within 30 minutes of placing a qualifying wager.” Cashed out bets will not count. This promo can be used once per gameday, but the bonus bets must be used on an NFL preseason market. The bonus bets expire seven days after being issued. This promotion expires on August 28.
