Canadian Sportsbooks Are Offering Welcome Bonus Promos of $200 and More

Picking one of Canada’s many sportsbooks to start betting with isn’t as simple as it might seem. Many of them offer similar sports and types of bets. One way to get the most bang for your buck is by choosing a sportsbook with a welcome offer for new accounts, which offer extra funds to bet with when you sign up. Here are three currently available.

Bet99

Bet99 is offering a 100% first deposit match up to $500. This promotion is available when you make your first deposit. Players who deposit a minimum of $20 will receive a 100% deposit match. The maximum deposit that can be matched is $500. However, the terms and conditions of the promotion must be followed to withdraw the bonus and winnings resulting from it.

The qualifying bonus, the extra funds received from the promotion, must be bet at least five times on “sports betting markets with odds of -125 or higher (-110, +100 etc).” Legs of parlays need to have minimum -125 odds or more. Bets cashed out early will not count. If a $500 deposit is made, Bet99 will require the player to bet $2500 before they can withdraw the bonus money. These bets must be made within 30 days of receiving the welcome bonus.

888sport

888sport is offering 100% first deposit match up to $300. Like Bet99’s promotion, this offer is available to Ontarians. This promotion is a little different because players must bet an amount equal to their first deposit to receive a deposit match. This bet is known as the qualifying bet, which must be $10 or more on a sports market with odds above 1.5 (-200).

For example, if the first deposit and qualifying bet are equal to $50, you will receive a bonus of $50 if the conditions are met. The bonus funds will be “credited to accounts upon qualifying bets settlement.” The bonus funds need to be wagered six times before winnings resulting from it can be withdrawn, these bets must be at 1.5 odds or greater. The deposit and bonus wager requirements deadline is 60 days.

Sports Interaction

Sports Interaction is offering 100% first deposit match up to $1000. This promotion needs to be selected before a deposit is made. To receive a deposit match, there needs to be a deposit of $10 or higher. Then, the entire first deposit up to $200 needs to be wagered as a qualifying bet. This bet needs to be settled within 45 days of the deposit.

“Sportsbook bets that have odds of less than or equal to -200 (1.5) do not qualify.” Any cashed-out bets will not count. SportsInteraction calls these bonus funds bet credits, which can’t be withdrawn. The bet credits can be used to place sports bets on odds 3.0 (+200) or lower, and parlays require each leg to be below 3.0. “Winnings from bets placed using bet credits are paid out in cash, but exclude the bet credits stake amount.”
